SUMMARY:Dill With It - Pickle Party '25
DESCRIPTION:From Michigan to Dromore. From New Zealand to Belfast. From a love of beer to a love of brine. \nThis is what happens when worlds collide over a pint and a passion for pickles. \nIt all began last November with a conversation at @bullhouseeast about sour beers\, big flavours\, and the humble pickle. A few months later\, Brent—one of the newest Bullhouse team members\, freshly arrived from New Zealand—showed up at The Woodworkers with a grin and a notebook in hand: \n“I’ve figured out the pickle beer.” \nEnter Willetta\, a Michigan native who’s been making serious waves in the Northern Irish food scene with her powerhouse deli and bagel kitchen\, @bethelskitchen\, out in Dromore. Frustrated by the lack of proper pickles on this side of the Atlantic\, she decided to take matters into her own hands. For the past few years\, she’s been crafting the kind of dill pickles that make you wonder how you ever settled for anything less. \nSo\, Willetta brought the brine. Bullhouse brought the beer. And together\, we started brewing something bold\, weird\, salty\, and entirely new. \nThis collaboration is built on open minds and open doors. It’s proof that when cultures and ideas come together\, the result can be greater—and weirder—than the sum of its parts. \nA few weeks back\, the teams from Bullhouse and Bethel’s Kitchen met up for the very first taste test\, fresh from the fermentation tank. It was already shaping up to be something special—salty\, tangy\, and impossible not to sip again. The verdict? Needs more pickle. So we tweaked it\, refined it\, and brought the brine to the forefront. \nAnd now… \n🥒 PICKLES! 🥒 \nIt’s finally time to unveil what we’ve been working on. \nIntroducing ‘Dill With It’\, our official pickle beer—designed by the amazing @fionaamcd\, who’s captured the quirky\, zingy\, delightfully salty spirit of this project perfectly. Months in the making\, this beer is bold\, sour\, and just a little bit silly—but in the best possible way. And yes\, it absolutely keeps you coming back for more. \nTo celebrate\, we’re throwing a launch party at The Woodworkers on Friday 15th August from 6PM. \nA Pickle Party\, if you will… \nHere’s what’s going down:\n\n\n🥒 Dill With It on tap & in cans \n\n\n🍕 A special pickle pizza from @woodyswoodfired.pizza \n\n\n🧄 Frickles from our kitchen using @bethelskitchen pickles \n\n\n🫙 Willetta’s legendary pickles for sale in jars \n\n\n🤫 Secret homemade ranch for dipping (you’ll want to drink it) \n\n\n👕 Pickle merch giveaways for the first folks to grab a pint \n\n\n🎁 More surprises\, prizes & salty delights throughout the night \n\n\nThis one’s for the brine lovers\, the curious sippers\, and anyone who always asks for “extra pickles.” \nHuge thanks to the brilliant teams at @bullhousebrewco and @bethelskitchen for bringing this idea to life. It’s been a joy from start to finish—and we can’t wait to raise a glass (or a jar) with you all on the 15th.
